About this model

1320 nm is the wavelength used in facial rejuvenation, in treatments for acne-prone skin, for pore reduction and for collagen stimulation. The OVIO polarising filter is dedicated to it: it absorbs the laser energy at optical density OD6, to EN 207:2017, while keeping your view clear.

The 60° field of view gives you precision and control, variable transparency reduces eye strain, and the light frame with adjustable temples is made for long sessions in the treatment room.

Which lasers is the OVIO Nd:YAG 1320 nm for?

For Nd:YAG lasers that emit at 1320 nm — on the product sheet: facial rejuvenation, acne-prone skin, pore reduction and collagen stimulation. Check the wavelength on your device's label or in its manual before you use the glasses: a filter protects only within the range it is specified for.

What protection does it give?

Optical density OD6 at 1320 nm: the filter lets through one millionth (0.0001%) of the laser radiation at that wavelength. The glasses are certified to EN 207:2017, according to the OVIO product sheet, and have a 60° field of view.

Can I wear it over prescription glasses?

This model is not specified for wearing over prescription glasses. The OVIO Q-Switched 532/1064 nm and OVIO CO₂ 10600 nm models are; in any other case, ask us before you order.

What should the patient wear during the treatment?

Separate protection: the OVIO ceramic eye shields are a physical barrier rated for 190–3000 nm, which includes 1320 nm. They come in sizes S, M and L, at €91 excluding VAT.
