About this model
The patient sits right in the path of the beam, so they need a different kind of protection from the operator. OVIO ceramic shields do not rely on an optical filter but on a physical barrier: the lead body blocks the radiation completely, and the micro-ceramic coating repels the photons.
Unlike plastic models, which can melt or crack over time with repeated exposure to the laser beam, ceramic shields stay thermally and optically stable even under intensive use. They protect across 190–3000 nm — hair removal, rejuvenation, vascular treatments, Q-Switched.
They come in three sizes, S, M and L, to fit every face and eye area.
