About this model
The CO₂ laser works in the far infrared, at 10600 nm, in ablative rejuvenation, dermatology and precision surgery. OVIO CO₂ lenses are made of infrared-absorbing polycarbonate and protect at optical density OD5+ across the whole 5000–11000 nm band, to EN 207:2017.
Because the wavelength is invisible and far from the visible spectrum, the lenses can stay almost clear: visible light transmission is 70%, so you work as if without glasses. The ECO2-S model can also be worn over prescription glasses.
