About this model

OVIO glasses for Alexandrite have their optical filter precisely calibrated to 755 nm and block the laser radiation at optical density OD6, to EN 207:2017, with extended infrared coverage.

The 60° field of view gives you complete freedom of movement, without distortion. Optimised transparency keeps visibility good even in long sessions, and the adjustable temples hold the glasses steady on any face.

Choose a pink or a green lens — both options are for 755 nm, OD6.

Which lasers is the OVIO Alexandrite 755 nm for?

For Alexandrite lasers that emit at 755 nm — on the product sheet: laser hair removal. Check the wavelength on your device's label or in its manual before you use the glasses: a filter protects only within the range it is specified for.

What protection does it give?

Optical density OD6 at 755 nm: the filter lets through one millionth (0.0001%) of the laser radiation at that wavelength. The glasses are certified to EN 207:2017, according to the OVIO product sheet, and have a 60° field of view.

Can I wear it over prescription glasses?

This model is not specified for wearing over prescription glasses. The OVIO Q-Switched 532/1064 nm and OVIO CO₂ 10600 nm models are; in any other case, ask us before you order.

Pink or green lens: is the protection different?

No, according to the product sheets: both lens colours are calibrated to 755 nm, with OD6 protection, certified to EN 207:2017. Choose the colour you prefer.

What should the patient wear during the treatment?

Separate protection: the OVIO ceramic eye shields are a physical barrier rated for 190–3000 nm, which includes 755 nm. They come in sizes S, M and L, at €91 excluding VAT.
